Starter guides · level 1 → 70
Point-by-point levelling order, the one-ultimate rule, venue run order, early chase relics, follower choice on a budget, and the stash workflow that funds it all.
Drummer — Iron Parade Starter (Level 1 → 70)
Close-range shockwave combat with a very large Soul pool. You melee to build Fusion charges, spend Groove on Stagebreaker Wave, and use Cyclone Solo to hold a pack still. Heavy Hands supplies the damage scaling and Pocket Control supplies the survivability.
Guitarist — Prismatic Encore Starter (Level 1 → 70)
Ranged critical-strike play built on lightning. You draw enemies together with Heaven's Circuit, channel Sustain Beam for damage and mitigation, and use Legato Rush and Stage Ghost to stay out of melee. Perfect Pitch converts the whole build into critical damage.

Full guide →This is a code-audited ranking of five leading configurations, not a measured DPS leaderboard or proof of a unique global optimum. Exact ordering can change with wave density, boss composition, movement, follower survival, and rare crafted affix combinations. No live combat benchmark or observed survival percentage is claimed.
| Rank | Build | Why choose it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Prismatic Encore Guitarist | Highest combined damage/shield ceiling in dense encounters; requires careful shield timing. |
| 2 | Iron Parade Drummer | Most dependable baseline toughness; Heavy Hands scaling, Pocket Control, sustained waves and percent-HP damage. |
| 3 | Closed Feedback Tube Guitarist | Continuous lightning pressure, grid control and beam mitigation; stronger when enemies remain in the grid. |
| 4 | Ricochet Inferno Drummer | Excellent fast pack clearing and sustain; explosions lose value when kills stop. |
| 5 | Downstroke Anarchy Guitarist | Strong charged burst and clone pressure; positioning and beam downtime make it less consistent. |
